Senior Planning Engineer - London

Our client, one of the world’s leading construction and management consultants, currently requires a senior planning manager/ engineer to join their Value Planning & Risk (VPR) team in London.

As the senior planning engineer you will offer quality planning, programming and monitoring ‘Programme Management’ support for projects to add value in the organizing and execution of construction works (including lead design & procurement) to accord with an overall plan and working with the existing Project Management team.

You will service both external clients as well as the in house Project and Cost Management teams.
You will plan and carry out critical path analysis, programming and Method Statements for all types of projects.; monitor projects with varying techniques against different contract types; evaluate and advise upon delay and disruption against different contract types; attend risk analysis and value management meetings / workshops and support and advise design and construction team members upon planning actions and monitoring.

It is important you have received substantial sector and leadership experience in the construction industry and have spent substantial career periods exclusively carrying out planning and programming and are familiar with and skilled in the usage of leading desktop and planning / project management software.

With a strong degree you will ideally be chartered in a relevant construction discipline and be creative, client facing with experience of both private and public sector developments.

Security clearance would be preferable.
