Associate Director - Cost Management at £55000 plus package

Associate Director – Quantity Surveying – Public Sector

Our client, an International Construction and Management Consultancy currently requires an Associate Director within it Public Sector Quantity Surveying team in London.

As a recognized leader provider of project management, cost management, health planning and business case development services to government agencies, NHS Trusts, consortia, contractors and funders their Public Sector team works across the full range of PPP projects such as Health and Education, Local Authority & Laboratory. Project values vary tremendously but as a median range between £3m and £150m.

Current projects include Royal Victoria Hospital Belfast value £150m, BSF Building Schools for the Future projects at Greenwich, Kent & Tower Hamlets values £80m to £150m, various schemes at Middlesex University ranging from £3m to £20m.

As the senior quantity surveyor you will be responsible for cost consultancy projects primarily in the education and health sectors. You will use your experience in this market to advise clients, consultants and contractors with involvement of projects from inception to completion, handover and post project evaluation as well as overseeing the quantity surveying team.

You will have strong technical skills and expertise; inspire confidence in the client and colleagues, possess good client facing skills; an ability to offer timely and accurate advice with authority and be equally competent working under your own initiative as being a focal point and lead member of the team.

As an MRICS chartered quantity surveyor you will ideally have recent knowledge and exposure to PFI, NHS Trust and Procure 21 although those with Life Cycle skills rather than PFI would also be considered.
