Energy Consultant at £40000 - £45000

Our client, an international property and construction consultant is currently looking for an energy consultant to assess and provide energy performance certificates for commercial buildings across the UK.

You will work within their Facilities Management and Engineering team and will work in both the public and private sectors across all disciplines.

To be able to perform the role you will have an engineering background, working either in a design house designing the systems, or have a contracting background installing the systems (if you have spent time carrying out condition reports from a building services aspect these would also be ideal), and have thorough knowledge of all HVAC systems. Ideally you will have Hevacomp Part L experience and have completed the LCC exams.

The role involves spending approximately 20% of the time out of the office assessing the buildings, collating the information required to calculate the EPC. 80% of time will be spent in the office calculating the results and putting the reports together for the EPC to be issued.
