Project Director - Infrastructure at 100,000plus

Our client, a leading global project management and construction management consultant with a strong presence in Europe, North Africa and the Middle East is looking to recruit a project director in Romania.

As project director you will be responsible for the project design and construction supervision for a major infrastructure project.

You will carry out the duties of the engineer, as described in the civil works contract document; manage the consultant’s team; check that the commission is carried out in accordance with the Terms of Reference; verify and certify the interim and final statements of work; produce the periodic and final reports and any other reports as required by the Employer; inspect the works during the Defects Notification Period and issue the related reports; advise the client on any issue likely to affect the financial resources, such as variation orders, or the scope of work and delegate duties as appropriate to assistants.

You will be a graduate engineer having at least twenty years of experience on the supervision of road/bridge projects, contract management. In particular you must possess at least 5 years of experience on Design and Build (as per FIDIC) projects and have broad international experience (ex own country) and be able to demonstrate that you have occupied similar posts on at least three similar road projects with a cumulated value of the works of 450 million Euro’s.
